Jersey is typically brown light in color but can range from being almost grey to dull black with some having white patches with black noses. It is well known for high quality milk, particularly richer in proteins, minerals and trace elements. The milk is also rich in color which is naturally produced from carotene. The milk production are moderate with 22 litres per day with even higher butter fat rate at 5.3%.
