Large white is a breed which was developed from yorkshire breeds. They have the following charactaristics:
- They have erect ears
- Have slightly dished face and snout
- Long body with excellent hams
- Have fine white hair
- Very prolific
- Late maturing
- Good mothering
- Can be used for pork and bacon
